Typical MC blunders

Cid is hot garbage, but that's what makes him perfect. That and his not-so-delusional 'delusions'. Also, Sheryl must have a violent imagination, if she hears screams and thinks it's all in her head. XD This anime is a 10/10.

Though it's definitely more on the mob side to block an attack like that and almost dying.
Also he is more like someone pretending to be a mob, but secretly OP. The mob is the hidden true identity of the eminence. As that is part of it he conciders being dead person X a failure, he would want his mob self to be a random lucky survivor.

His want to be an NPC is basically a fascade at this point.

He just wants cross off his every desire in his long bucket list

Except hes doing it on purpose. He's trying to play the roles to satisfy his fetish while also staying relevant, just enough to be included in events. All of these goals are satisfied here

something tells me, Nu's ex-boyfriend he was pretending to be unconscious while he was listening to their conversation, so maybe in the future he will help garden shadow since he knows who they are

No both of the guards are probably hidden villains the anime makes it too obvious but we will see soon enough

I know it's been months, but just wanted to respond anyway and say that I don't think either of them are alive.
At least the whole gesture of Nu covering the big knight's eyes like that seemed to indicate a "respect" for the deceased. I think Nu was going to desecrate Marco's body because of his past crimes before she got saved by Shadow Garden. Like a petty revenge.

Nu's ex-boyfriend is pretty sus I think he's with the cult as we saw a hint in previous episode in Nu's flashback that after associating herself with her now ex-boyfriend lead to some bad things happening to her in her past and also she tried to him kill so there's definitely something that can't be seen right now.

but he succeeded... he "died" without making any difference. Granted he played the weak hero who only served as a sacrifice to the girl who is MC in that scene lol, but he still played the mob.

at this points he is just a side character who is secretly playing the main character

"He ended up not dying" Clinically he was dead lmao, he just revived himself. Now that I think about it, he could literally become immortal and invincible seeing how much control he has over magic. Cancer? Destroy the infected cells and create new ones. Injury? Heal it using boosted materialization. Literally death? No problem, magic makes you alive either way.

As expected lol. The way Cid had complete control over the situation and just effortlessly killing the enemies was kinda satisfying. Predictable but was still fun to watch lol.

Gamma sure is a total klutz. She is definitely not the right person to be wearing heels, someone please take that away from her T_T.

The only way for the other shadow garden members to nerf her or shadow-sama might focus on favouritism 🤣

Yeah, if he had just left the academy and continued his plans from outside the academy and lead everyone to believe cid was dead, that would have been the perfect mob death for cid lmfao.

Though, then we'd miss out on anymore interactions with any of the characters that aren't part of shadow garden, so i'm happy it didn't end up like that haha.

Technically he did die though right. I mean his heart had stopped for more than 5 minutes which means he was biologically dead.

Clinical death occurs when the person has stopped breathing and blood has stopped circulating. Biological death is when clinical death has been sustained from more than 5 minutes.

Yeah, I think he said 10 minutes? Only reason he survived was because he manipulated/controlled his blood so it could still give oxygen to his brain. So technically clinically dead, but not brain dead? Not sure if that makes sense, but what the hell, this is a fantasy/isekai/reincarnation anime, not realistic slice of life or anything

They have magic, Cid knows how to play with magic better then any other characters, even in Naruto, there has been fake death using Chakra, its different methods but, same thing, in real life; people who can hold breath long as 10 minutes is a swimmer, 20 minutes is a scoober diver profs who hasn't used oxygen tank. It's possible but, dangerous because you could get heart attack at some point and die.

True dead is when the brain has stopped working. Even if you can't breath as long as brain-kun is still functioning you aren't dead.

No. There isn’t a way to tell when the brain has ‘stopped functioning’. It’s just generally accepted that after 5 minutes of no circulation, it’s very unlikely youll able to revive someone. And on the off chance that you do, there’s going to be sever brain damage

Cid is the type of guy to give permission to oxygen to enter his body.

He's like the child Version of Anos Voldigoad. He's got like ALL the power, but he doesn't want to be recognized for it. He doesn't want people to see him as a god, he just wants to play got from the shadows.

At this point im just waiting for him to drop a new line to the effect of "did you think that stopping time would stop me?" or something like that to confirm this fan theory.
